This is one of the requirements to obtain a Class 2 License.

This course is suitable for individual who have a Certificate of Registration (Class 3 – Assistant Agent) and who would like to obtain their Class 2 License and become a Licensed Real Estate Agent in NSW.

A class 2 agent will be able to work in both commercial and residential sales, leasing and owner’s corporation.

The main purpose of this program is to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to work in the Real Estate industry a licensed agent working under a licensee-in-charge.

The knowledge and skills acquired through the program are applicable across a range of residential, commercial and industrial property types.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment and Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) for completing 18 units (5 core and 13 elective units).

Individuals who hold Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice qualify to apply for a Class 2 License with NSW Fair Trading.

In order to be eligible to make an application with NSW Fair Trading to become a Licensed Agent (Class 2 Real Estate Agents License), you must have evidence of 12 month’s work experience (evidence of competence to be provided by Licensee-in-Charge) as an Assistant Agent (Class 3) and must complete the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419).
